These Seller & Merchant Terms apply to businesses that sell through Tumr Sell, Tumr Stores, POS, or WhatsApp commerce. They supplement the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy.
1. Your store
- You control your catalog, prices, policies, and fulfillment promises. You are the seller of record for your products and are responsible for their legality, quality, and accurate description.
- You get a free `{slug}.tumr.app` storefront subdomain. Paid plans can connect a custom domain, which is provisioned with automatic TLS after DNS verification; keep your DNS pointed correctly or the domain may be marked degraded.
- Staff accounts act under your store; you are responsible for their activity and for revoking access when roles change.
2. Plans, fees, and billing
- Plan tiers (Free, Starter, Pro, Growth) set quotas and transaction-fee rates shown on the pricing page and in your billing screens. Fees applicable to an order are disclosed at checkout in line with your store's fee-handling mode.
- Subscriptions are billed via Flutterwave and renew until cancelled. You can downgrade or cancel effective at period end; overage credits are handled as described in-product.
- AI features consume credits as described in-product; you can buy credit packs in advance or pay per-credit overage on plans that allow it.
3. Orders, escrow, and payouts
- For delivery orders, buyer payments are held in escrow and released to your merchant settlement when delivery is confirmed, minus applicable fees.
- Payouts are sent to your verified bank account via Flutterwave. Verification, velocity limits, and fraud checks can delay a payout.
- Refunds for orders still in escrow are deducted from the escrowed amount before settlement.
4. WhatsApp commerce
- If you enable WhatsApp ordering, conversations are billed as described in-product and must follow Meta's commerce/messaging policies.
- Customers must be able to complete a purchase in-chat; do not use the channel for unsolicited marketing blasts.
5. Content and conduct
- Only upload content you have rights to. You grant Tumr a license to display it to operate your storefront.
- No prohibited goods (see the Acceptable Use Policy). Fake orders, fake reviews, or escrow manipulation can lead to suspension and clawback of related payouts.
- Your storefront may show customer reviews and order data only for your own store.
6. Customer data
You receive customer details needed to fulfill orders. Use them only for that order and lawful follow-up the customer agreed to; do not sell or repurpose buyer data. Handle personal data in line with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
7. Termination
You can close your store from settings. We can suspend stores for breach, fraud, or legal risk. Pending escrow and payout balances are settled through the normal process at closure.
